Playboy Playmate and renowned actress Kymberly Herrin passed away. She was 65.

Herrin passed away “peacefully” on October 28 in Santa Barbara, California, where she resided up until her passing, according to an obituary published by the Santa Barbara News-Press on Tuesday.

She was a “lovely woman inside and out,” according to the obituary.

Modeling was how Herrin, who was born in Santa Barbara on October 2, 1957, initially gained notoriety. She modeled for Ralph Lauren and appeared on the covers of numerous magazines, according to her obituary.

In 1975, Herrin received his high school diploma from Santa Barbara. She then became a model, appearing on the covers of numerous publications, including Playboy.

According to IMDB, she was Playmate of the Month in the March 1981 edition and appeared on the covers of the issues published in September 1982 and 1983.

The obituary read, “Kymberly will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.”

Her mother Billie Dodson and brother Mark Herrin are Herrin’s only surviving family members.

Although there is no known official cause of death, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society to support breast cancer research.
