The badminton academy run by Olympian Kirsty Gilmour will relocate to an East Kilbride community center.
The South Lana Shire Council, in consultation with the Badminton Academy Social Enterprise ie BSC, has leased the Titu Outfield Committee for a very long time.
For your information, let me tell you that BASE i.e. Badminton Academy Social Enterprise was still being run by Kirsty Gilmour, who has also won the Badminton Olympics twice as a professional.
This committee center has been opened for people of all classes and all ages.
Kirsty has also said that many players from Scotland are also going to connect with this community center of ours and can enjoy badminton as much as they want.
Kirsty has also said that she does not believe in any caste, religion, class, age, or financial problem of anyone.
Anyone can join this community center and play as much badminton as they want.

“BASE is currently in preliminary discussions with South Lanarkshire Council to examine the viability of using community asset transfer legislation to secure a long-term lease that would guarantee the facility’s continued operation for the residents of East Kilbride and South Lanarkshire.
Along with South Lanarkshire Council representatives, local council members will also be attending.
